NASW-PA offers various volunteer opportunities, such as volunteering at local and state-wide events, internships, presenting workshops and more. Run for the Board

On an annual basis, NASW-PA accepts nominations to run for Chapter leadership and serve on our Board of Directors. Members attend four meetings a year. Most meetings held over Zoom. In the 2025 election (held May/June 2025, term beginning July 1, 2025), the following positions are open:

• President-Elect
• Secretary
• Northeast Division Chair
• Southeast Division Chair
• Southeast Division Representative
• Member-at-large I and II
• MSW Student Representative 
• BSW Student Representative
• Member of the Chapter Committee on Nominations and Leadership Identification (3 seats)

Join a Committee

Committees are specialized groups who focus on particular topics and/or issues within the social work profession and consider best practices for NASW-PA to approach these topics and issues. If you have questions/comments, get in touch with the assigned staff.
