Legislative Education & Advocacy DayLegislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD) is an annual event hosted by NASW-PA at which nearly 1,000 social work students and professionals gather to advocate for legislation that is relevant to the social work profession. Attendees visit their legislators throughout the day and tell them why such legislation is important and how it will serve the Commonwealth.
NASW-PA PACENASW-PA PACE (Political Action for Candidate Election) is the political fundraising and campaigning arm of NASW-PA. Through NASW-PA PACE, we work to engage social workers in political action, builds relationships between social workers and soon-to-be elected officials, and more.
