Campus Ambassadors
Purpose
The NASW-PA's Next Gen Program aims to identify students from each social work college in Pennsylvania who will serve as a link between their respective program and NASW-PA.
Requirements
- Be a member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
- Liaisons will represent their school for both Fall and Spring semesters.
- Liaisons may serve longer terms and must select their replacement when graduating.
- Liaisons must notify NASW-PA if they are unable to continue as a liaison and assist in locating a replacement.
Program Description
- Next Gen Student Liaisons will be selected from each BSW and MSW program throughout the State.
- Liaisons will be a voice for NASW in their respective schools and will distribute information from NASW-PA to both classmates and faculty.
- Liaisons will be responsible for contacting NASW-PA once a month to learn new information from the NASW-PA Chapter and to inform staff about important information (events, news, etc.) from their school.
- Promote Student Center section of the NASW-PA website and offer suggestions and feedback on Student Center content and layout to staff.

- Discounted rate for conference (volunteer rate) for the day of the student track and free registration to NASW-PA's Legislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD)

NASW-PA Campus Ambassador must be approved by NASW-PA. Once you submit an application, an NASW-PA staff member will be in touch to discuss the program and next steps.
