Legislative Education & Advocacy Day (LEAD) 2026

March 24, 2026 LEAD DAY will be IN PERSON

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE REGISTERING ** IMPORTANT INFORMATION

* Dress comfortably, there will be walking and prolonged standing involved in weather conditions   

* When registering indicate which school you are attending, example If you attend Commonwealth University,
please indicate which campus 

* Scheduled appointments with legislators will correspond with your Universities' address

Tentative Schedule for 3/24 LEAD ~  Rain or Shine

For 2026 NASW-PA will have a march to the Capital Steps from City Island in Harrisburg
if you are unable to participate in the march, the rally begins at the capitol steps at 10 am

Handicap accessibility available on the East Wing by the fountain and meet at the capital steps 

9am ~ Meet at City Island in Harrisburg at the foot bridge
During this time have check in and pick up LEAD bags

Please note City Island does not have restrooms, may have porta potty available

9:30 am ~ March to the Capital Steps, please be aware this is a 20 minute walk along a bridge that has a sidewalk

10 am - 11 am ~ Rally at the Harrisburg Front Capital Steps
