Course Objectives
 

• Participants will gain an understanding of the key social issues and challenges impact youth, including mental health, social media influence, substance use and family dynamics;
• Attendees will examine how the issues that impact youth influence adolescent development;
• Participants will explore how social media, bullying, stress, substance use and academic pressure shape youth behavior and well-being;
• Attendees will learn ways to foster protective factors and build resilience to address the challenges youth face.
