Companion Animal Grief Treatment Companion animal death often goes unrecognized as a significant loss, despite its life changing impact on pet owners’ biopsychosocial-spiritual welfare. This interactive, case-based course examines the unique human-animal bond loss experience in connection with best practice approaches in well-being enhancing adult grief treatment. Utilizing case studies and colleague dialogue attendees will apply the approaches and methods to practice.
