Ripple of Light Bereavement Resource Center, LLC Presents Tuesday, December 8, 2026 from 1 - 4pm Live Webinar
Ethical Integration of Spiritually-Oriented CBT into Practice with Bereaved Adults The death of a friend, spouse, or adult child is a life changing biopsychosocial-spiritual experience that a rising number of persons over the age of 65 navigate yearly. This population often derives comfort from their religion/spiritual worldview and may seek guidance within the coping domain. This engaging, case-based course outlines ethical strategies for integrating the religion/spiritual domain across therapeutic processes and utilizing Spiritually-Oriented CBT methods in advancing the meaning-making process and inner life adjustment of bereaved older adults. The course discusses best practices in assessment and treatment relevant to supporting those navigating identity, social role, self-esteem, or psychological health changes. Learning Objectives:

3. Explain Spiritually-Oriented CBT methods in relation to person-centered assessment and treatment of bereaved older adults.
4. Apply best practices in spiritual integration across therapeutic processes to practice through case study analysis.
