Pa Masonic Youth Foundation Presents When Love Hurts: Addressing Dating Violence Among Youth Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 9am - 12pm
Live Webinar
Course Objectives
Teen dating violence, or intimate partner violence impacts millions of teens each year. A recent national survey revealed that ten percent of teens, both male and female, had been victims of physical violence while 29 percent shared they had been verbally or psychologically harmed. The violence experienced can be physical, emotional, verbal, sexual and cyber and can affect the development of health relationships as teens grow into adulthood. Teen dating violence can be prevented with a focus on developing healthy relationships, reducing risk factors and fostering protective factors. This workshop will address the reduction of risk factors as well as identifying protective factors while examining the development of healthy teen dating relationships.
- Have an understanding of teen dating violence.
- Be able to identify both protective factors and identify risk factors.
