Course Objectives

This event will provide social workers with current, evidence-based knowledge to
better serve clients with dementia, and their families, while promoting ethical practice rooted in dignity,
autonomy, and person-centered care. Strategies and tools present will inform a social worker's role as an
interdisciplinary collaborator to build dementia-friendly communities aligning with ethical standards to better
protect vulnerable adults.
