A solution exists, Pardons! Come watch a compelling documentary (https://www.pardonsnow.org/) and engage with attendees about a solution and the fight to scale one of the largest human rights campaigns in America! This is a vital session for understanding social action in social work and community empowerment. - Define what a Pardon is and the human rights issue facing returning citizens
- Identify the impact and current challenges of community activism in addressing Pardon issues.
- Develop awareness of resources and the role of social workers in advocating for and supporting communities affected by the criminal justice system.
