Session Learning Objectives:


- Participants will learn what the different is between cognitive and affective empathy, and how both develop during the teen years
- Attendees will gain an understanding of the barriers to the development of empathy
- Participants will learn the necessary steps for building empathy in schools
- Attendees will gain an understanding of resources available in the development of empathy
