Familylinks Presents:

The Psychobiology of Trauma

Discover the ways that exposure to violence damages the mind as well as the body.  In order to be successful when working with traumatized clients, you need a working knowledge of the psychobiology of trauma, and what it does to individuals. This is especially true of chronic trauma, trauma that occurs during early human development, and is a result of interpersonal violence.  This training will examine the biological function of trauma, and how these factors influence the way our client interpret life around them.
