Southeastern/Philadelphia Division Event Presents: 


Understanding Immigration
  

This training will provide an introduction to immigration law for social workers who deal with immigrant families.  Attendees will learn about Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) status, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and other immigration classifications that may allow abused, abandoned or neglected foreign-born children in the United States to immediately apply for relief from removal or lawful permanent resident status.
