Drugs of Abuse: From Doctors to Dealers, Users & Healers

Deepen your understanding of the differences among the drugs in the healthcare industry that are most often abused, examining aspects of chemistry and pharmacology, the uses and abuses, and the therapeutic and recreational effects.  Develop a basic understanding of drugs that are abused throughout the healthcare system. Link pharmaceutical knowledge and clinical care, identifying drugs of abuse by category, including narcotics of natural, semi-synthetic and synthetic origin, stimulants, depressants, and hallucinogens.
