OMHSAS Presents: 

Mental Health Response to Mass Violence

This full day program explores the types and nature of acts of mass violence, as well as the emotional and behavioral reactions to these incidents.  Attention is also given to the demands on the first responders and others who reach out to help. Both long- and short term mental effects are explores, as well as models and methods of support and intervention, & the integration with Victim Service providers and other agencies responding to an act of mass crime.
