Motivational Interviewing for PTSD & Trauma


‚ÄčThis workshop is designed to illustrate the connection between MI practice techniques and trauma informed work with persons experiencing PTSD. MI is an evidence-based and recovery oriented practice linked to intensifying commitment to increase health-promoting behaviors. MI operationslizes strategies for a collaborative style of work that has been linked to improved outcomes for individuals who live with co-occurring mental health, substance use, and physical health challenges who may be suffering from PTSD
