What Does it Mean to be Transgender Affirming?

With the recent media attention regarding Catilyn Jenner this workshop will give some insight on what it means to be Transgender and all of the between. Here are some of the topics that will be discussed:
- What is transgender affirming?
- Define gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender 
- What is gender or not.
- Difference between affirming and ally
- Stages of transgender emergence and other topics such as mental health needs, medical needs and supporting families, children and individuals who are LGBT
