Southeast/Philadelphia Division Presents

The Lone Wolf-Special Considerations for Solo Practitioners and Workers in Non-Social Work Settings

This workshop is designed for the "Lone Wolf" solo practitioners, consultants, and social workers employed in non-traditional or non-social work settings.  Working solo, or being the only social worker in a workplace can foster isolation and make ethical practice more complex due to inherent, unavoidable conflicts of interest, and his s especially true in for profit settings.  We will outline steps you can take to ensure you are balancing the needs of clients with your obligation to keep fiscal realities in mind, as well as get the feedback and collaboration of other social workers to maintain an ethical practice, keep your skills fresh and prevent burnout

Presented by Mary Harris, MSS, LCSW and Ruth Hoskins, LCSW
