3 Ethics CEs

 

SW Film Series:  My Sister's Keeper: Medical Ethics

Presented by Mary Harris, LCSW

 

The first in an ongoing film series aimed at providing topical and timely dialogue and affordable CEs on a variety of social work practice areas.

 

Learning Objectives:

1. To be able  to identify the numerous medical ethic dilemmas posed in the film.

2. To apply the NASW Code of Ethics to several of these dilemmas: informed consent, self-determination, dual relationships (just to name a few)

3. To discuss medical ethics around right to die, DNR, refusing treatment, and minor's rights.

 

Cost for members: $15

Cost for non members: $20

Film: 6:00-7:40
Dinner/Discussion: 7:40-9:00 next door at Mt Airy Noodle House. A variety of soups, drinks, other goodies under $10 available for purchase.
