Overview:

1. Purpose of NASW Code of Ethics

2. An overview of ethical issues and values in social work will be presented

3. Conflicts of interest in social work practice and cases will be discussed

 

Learning objectives

1.  Participants will understand the importance of informed consent and mandated reporting

2. Participants will understand ethics and competency in social work practice

3. Cast studies will be presented to increase participant understanding of NASW Code of Ethics
