- Gain knowledge about the role of music, popular culture, the internet and social media in the lives of children and teens and its impact on the process of adolescent socialization
- Learn how people's attitudes about alcohol, tobacco and substance use are shaped both by media messages and peer influences that come from mass media, popular culture, texting, the internet and social media
